Lagos Big Girl, Maryam Temitope Steals $60,000 In Dubai But Nabbed In Lagos
A couple of weeks ago, a tumultuous drama played itself out at the Arrival Wing of the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja. At the centre of the drama was Maryam Temitope Kazeem, a young businesswoman.

Maryam had just disembarked an Emirate Airline flight from Dubai. Before she could take any step, she was approached by a team of Immigration officers, who requested that she step aside and come with them.In shock,Maryam followed the men into one of the offices and a search was carried out on her.

The search yielded a good result, for the sum of $60,000USD was found on her. The money belonged to Alhaji Adam, a popular businessman based in Dubai. Adam owns Hadkar World Cargo, a well known cargo firm with branches in Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates, UAE.

According to sources, Adam and Maryam are chummy friends. It was on the basis of the closeness between them that had prompted Adam to ask Mariam to help him bring some money from Lagos to Dubai.

Maryam agreed and went to the agent's office in Lagos to collect the money. The amount, which was $275,000USD was neatly packaged and given to Maryam.

She left for Dubai, and upon her arrival, she called Adam and asked him to meet her at Sahara Backside in Deira. However, when Adam arrived at the agreed venue, Maryam was nowhere to be found. It was gathered that the young lady had left for Adam's home to drop the money. From Adam's home, Maryam headed for the airport and boarded a Lagos bound flight.

When Adam got home and learnt that Maryam had come to drop the money, he smelt a rat.
His worst fear was soon confirmed when he called Maryam and discovered that she had switched off her mobile phone. Adam's apprehension soon gave way to anger when he counted the money and discovered that it had been tampered with.

Immediately, the Dubai businessman swung into action. He went to Emirate Airline office to register his report. It was gathered that the airline called its Lagos office and instructed its officials to get in touch with the officers working in Customs and Immigration section at the airport.

Meanwhile, Adam had also alerted his staff in Lagos of the theft, and he asked that some of his guys go to the airport to meet the Immigration officers. Consequently, Maryam was reported to have walked into the ambush, carefully laid for her by the Immigration officers. Some officers of the Nigeria Police Force were then invited to arrest the young lady.

The money, all $60,000 USD, was taken from her and handed to Adam's staff.on the instruction of Adam, the police freed Maryam and she was allowed to go home.
Maryam has gone underground since the incident and cannot be reached by friends who heard and want to hear her part of the story.

EXPOSED: How Policemen & A Popular Alhaji Are Extorting Money From Yahoo Boys In Lagos

How Policemen & A Popular Alhaji Are Extorting Money From Yahoo Boys In Lagos
I got this message from a Yahoo boy who said he was pushed into the trade by circumstances and because he doesn't want to go into armed robbery. He exposed a lot in the letter to us and disclosed how policemen are using the name of the Inspector General of Police to "deal" with them:

My name is Ibrahim Dipo, a final year student at the Leads City University, although I admit what I was doing with my friends was wrong but no other means of survival. I drive a Range Sport...

ON THE 15TH OF DECEMBER LAST YEAR 2012, SOME POLICE MEN AND EFCC OFFICIAL CAME TO MY HOUSE ALONG SIDE WITH THE POPULAR EX-CONVICT MAN NOW POLICE FAKE INFORMANT [Alhaji Rasaq Tunji Alaso] CALLED ALHAJI GAY.

HE WAS ARRESTED SO MANY TIMES BUT RELEASED BECAUSE HE USED TO SETTLE THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IN LAGOS AND IBADAN.

THEY CAME AT 7AM AND JUMPED INTO MY COMPOUND, THEY SHOWED ME A FAKE PETITION WHICH I THOUGHT WAS REAL WITH THE SIGNATURE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE [IG MD ABUBAKAR]. THEY ARRESTED ME AND TOOK MY RANGE SPORT, WRIST WATCH, JEWELRIS WORTH 590K, $3900 IN CASH, LAPTOP, AND TOOK ME IN THE DANFO BUS TO AN UNKNOWN DESTINATION.

THEY TOOK ME TO AN EMPTY HOUSE IN IJEBU WHERE I SAW SOME OTHER BOYS TOO WHO WAS DETAINED THERE. THE ALHAJI GAY (PICTURE ABOVE) ASKED HOW MUCH I HAD IN MY BANK ACCOUNT, I HAVE IN TOTAL OF N3.2 MILLION NAIRA IN MY FIRST BANK ACCOUNT. HE WAS ORDERING THE FAKE EFCC AND POLICE MEN BECAUSE HE IS IN CHARGE. THE ALHAJI GAY TOLD ME TO GO AND WITHDRAW ALL AND WAS HOLDING ALL MY STUFFS AND ALSO THE FAKE EFCC MEN TOLD ME IF I NOTIFY ANYONE THEY WILL USE THE PETITION AGAINST ME.

OUT OF FEAR, I WENT TO THE BANK AND WITHDRAW THE MONEY FOR ALHAJI WITH 10,000 NAIRA BALANCE. HE ALSO COLLECTED MY ORIGINAL CAR PAPERS, HE RELEASED ME AND DIDN'T GIVE ME MY CAR BACK AFTER THEY COLLECTED ALL MY MONEY. I KEEP CALLING HIS PRIVATE LINE {08039111480} HE LATER TOLD ME MY CAR IS BEEN SOLD AND IF I WANT TO USE POWER THEN THE IG WILL RELEASE ANOTHER PETITION AND THE EFCC WILL ARREST ME AGAIN.

A MONTH'S AFTER I LOST MY MUM AND LIFE HAS BEEN ROUGH FOR ME, PLEASE THE IG OF POLICE CAN LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE OF ALHAJI GAY. WHY ARE FAKE POLICEMEN AND FAKE EFCC EXTORTING MONEY FROM YAHOO BOYS? IS REALLY SAD, THIS KIND OF FRUSTRATION CAN LEAD SOMEONE TO ARM ROBBERY.

IF TRULY IG OF POLICE IS AWARE OF THIS THEN THIS IS REALLY BAD. FEW DAYS AFTER, HE ARRESTED 5 OF MY FRIENDS TOO AT UNILAG AND TOOK ALL THERE CARS WITH SOME POLICE MEN FROM ALAGBON. THE TOTAL MONEY HE GOT FROM THEM WAS IN TOTAL OF 7 MILLION NAIRA AND 3 RANGE SPORT AND 2 LR3.

NOW HE IS CALLING ME AND LOOKING FOR MORE MONEY AFTER HE COLLECTED EVERYTHING I HAD.... THE POLICE MEN FROM ALAGBON WAS EVEN ARGUING WITH ALHAJI GAY THAT THE SHARE OF THE MONEY HE GAVE THEM WAS SMALL, WHAT A SHAME TO THE NIGERIAN POLICE AND EFCC !!!!

Please, the authorities should look into these allegations by Ibrahim Dipo and take appropriate actions.

Lagos Police Arrest 2 Fake Doctors

Sunday, August 18, 2013

Lagos Police Arrest 2 Fake Doctors
The Police Command paraded two suspected fake medical doctors on August 16, 2013, Friday.
The suspects were seized for operating an unlicensed hospital named ‘Care Hospital’ at Omotoba Street, Unity Estate, Iba, Lagos.
The fake doctors identified as Gabriel Onyema Ihejiero, 39, and Nwankwo Stephen, age unknown, who has been employed as doctor by Ihejiero.
According to the police, on 26 July, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Damian Okoro, who is the Area ‘E’ Commander, Festac Town, received a distress call that some fake doctors were operating in Iba area and they were arrested.
Nwankwo Stephen has said the following in his confessional statement: “The MD (Ihejiero) is my friend. He came to me for an advice, then I suggested to him that we should start a hospital business and he agreed.
“I only worked for two years in his hospital before I stopped. I was trained as an auxiliary nurse in Ondo State for two years.”
The police said their investigation revealed that the two suspects never attended any medical or nursing school and they have conducted over 80 deliveries for pregnant women in the hospital.
While corroborating the Police report that they have carried out series of surgical operations, Stephen said: “I have delivered over 90 pregnant women and they were all successful.”
In his own confession, Ihejiero, who claimed to be selling bond paper in Ghana before he began the hospital business, said: “I own the hospital located at Iba. Though I am not a medical doctor, I employed a doctor with two years medical experience.”
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ngozi Braide, while speaking at the parade, advised the public not to patronise unlicensed hospitals and quack doctors.
