25 Nigerians Arrested In Spain For Prostitution
Even when the Nigerian Football Team tries their best to make us happy some people out there just the total opposite, why do they spoil our image out there, to be honest its so awful.

At least 25 people have been apprehended by police operatives in Spain as part of a crackdown on a s*x trafficking ring which lured women from Nigeria to the European country with promises of a better life.

The Spanish police were reported to have said that the Nigerian women, who fell victim to the ruse and were forced into prostitution on their arrival, would make their first stop in Mexico or Brazil using falsified travel documents.

The women would then allegedly be flown to the French capital, Paris, before they made their final stop in Spain, the land where they would be held captive.

According to reports, five women who were victims of the s*x ring were freed in the raids. Police found one member of the gang performing an abortion on one of the five women.

Arrests were made across Spain – in Madrid, Toledo, Cantabria and Palma de Mallorca.

More than 100 vans concealing luxury goods were also seized.

The gang used the vans to launder their profits and send them back to Lagos, police say.

The vans, with dark-tinted windows and welded doors, were stocked full of beer but had luxury items hidden deeper inside.

Goods worth an estimated 5m euros (£4.1m; $6.6m) were found in 94 vans seized in Madrid and another 26 in the port of Valencia, including high-end televisions and cases of alcohol.

Police say the gang was formed more than 20 years ago in Nigerian universities and was also known for sending so-called Nigerian letters by email, asking recipients to send money.

Nigerians Abroad Block Indian Road In Protest Of A Dead Colleague
About 200 Protesters comprising of Nigerian and other African nationals, blocked the National Highway 17 on the outskirts of Goa, India, today in protest of the death of a still to be identified Nigerian.

According to reports, the incident happened when a gang descended at Parra where many Nigerians reside in the country in four and two wheeler vehicles and attacked a group of Nigerians with weapons. Some of the Nigerians were on bikes when they were attacked. One was hit with a dagger severally that he breathed his last, while five others were injured in the attack before the assailants fled from the scene.

Other Nigerians, who rushed to the spot on hearing about the ghastly murder, refused the police to take the body for post mortem demanding that the assailtants be arrested first.
“The body was being taken to the Goa Medical College morgue in an ambulance when a mob of Africans stopped it and pulled the corpse out at Porvorim,” a police official said.

After removing the body from the van, the protesters dropped the corpse on the road demanding justice to be done – this led to huge traffic jam on the outskirts of the Goa capital.
Meanwhile, as the situation turned volatile, two companies of police personnel were rushed to the spot and some of the protesters were arrested. See another pic from the riot below
