How Stella Oduah Was Caught

First, since the day her spokesman, Joe Obi, confessed that the N225m vehicles where bought the safetyand security of Stella Oduah, she has stopped him from saying anything on her behalf. Now the latest revelation in the bullet-proof car saga is that it appears as if no cars were bought, after all, and the money was just shared with impunity by a privileged few.
But unfortunately for Stella Oduah and her accomplice(s), it has been discovered that the two cars sighted by a team of the House of Reps at the NCAA's office in Abuja on Tuesday are used vehicle and, it has also been discovered that "the chassis numbers" are different from what is in the official document...
According to some Senior Staff members of the Nigeria civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, there was no traces of any BMW bullet-proof cars in their office in Abuja until the scandal was exposed. The insiders have also disclosed that two vehicles were hurriedly brought to their office on Tuesday to make it appear like the cars were bought for the use of the NCAA and in the custody of the NCAA. All lies!

The Igbo Progressive Union, IPU yesterday sound a note of warning to President Goodluck Jonathan not to dare think of sacking Stella Oduah, the Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation as being clamoured by many Nigerians over her scandalous purchase of two bullet proof BMW cars at the outrageous sum of N225million, if he does, the president should forget about Ndigbo votes in 2015

The group gave the threat at during a protest against public outcry, calling for the sack of the embattled minister.

Nigeria, a country where we celebrate criminals. If not why would anybody, group or individual stands and be identified with a criminal? When shall this country be saved from the hands of tyrannies? May God come to the rescue of Nigeria. A country where criminals are celebrated and shielded in the name of tribal affiliate.

Oritsejafor Prays For Stella Oduah In Israel; Delegates Refused To Say "Amen"

What is going on with President Goodluck Jonathan and his delegation to Israel is something similar to what has been described as theater of absurdity.

I heard that a funny drama ensued at the River Jordan on Sunday when the Nigerian delegation in Israel led by President Jonathan went there to offer prayers, led by Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the President of CAN.

After praying for Jonathan and some dignitaries at River Jordan, Pastor Oritsejafor specifically mentioned the name of the embattled Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, but to his surprise several people in the gathering refused to say “Amen” to his prayer after hearing Stella Oduah's name...

Pastor Oritsejafor and President Jonathan were both stunned by the action of majority of the delegation, even as those present exchanged funny glances and moved on.

I hear Stella Oduah is still desperately lobbying top politicians to help cover the N255m car fraud.

Stella Oduah's Ex-Husband Speaks Out

Stella Oduah is fighting the battle of her life as tring to pull all the connections within her reach to force her way back into President Goodluck Jonathan's good book and retain her job as Minister of Aviation.

Anyway, while her kinsmen in Anambra State say they are shocked beyond words that their daughter could be caught in such mess, her ex-husband, Chief Chris Ogiemwonyi, who's a former minister of State for Works has finally break his silence. Below is how he reacted to Stella's travails:

“What concerns me about her? We have been separated and since she became minister, we have not seen. You know the time when the issue of dropping my name came up. We have not seen since then. We all read comments in the papers, everybody is listening and even the National Assembly, on the blogs; they are all full.
"But all I can tell you is that I last saw Stella in May 2011; that was when I saw her last. Since she became minister, I haven’t seen her. All I can say is that I wish her well, but there is nothing more I can say.”
You may wish to know that Stella and Mr Ogiemwonyi became friends when they were working for NNPC many years ago. While her ex-husband was a young engineer, Stella was with the account department of the oil corporation. Their friendship blossomed and they later became husband and wife.

The marriage however packed up when it became obvious that Stella was no longer respecting her husband.

Stella Oduah Begs Jonathan

The embattled Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, has commenced a high-powered lobbying to get into a room with President Goodluck Jonathan with a view to beg him to forgive her and save her job.

She tried using former President Olusegun Obasanjo to beg Jonathan to forgive her but Obasanjo turned her down, saying he can't get himself involved in an obvious act of corruption. Stella Oduah, sensing that she has bitten more than she can shew, then rushed to Aso Rock to personally beg Jonathan...

She was sighted at the Presidential Villa in Abuja late on Friday but Jonathan ignored her. A presidency top source confirmed Stella Oduah’s visit to the Villa.
According to the source, Oduah “wanted to explain herself to the President who, like every Nigerian, was embarrassed by the media reports and the evidence of the purchase of the two cars at an outrageous sum of N225m.”

The source said, “She was here (Villa) on Friday but like you know, Mr. President was busy throughout the weekend.”
Meanwhile, indications have emerged that Jonathan is set to probe Stella Oduah over the N255m car and all other transactions he has trusted her with in the past. This is because Jonathan used to believe that she is one of the best ministers he had until this monumental fraud was uncovered.
Meanwhile, Ms. Oduah is expected to appear before the Senate as the Senate resumes plenary on Tuesday.
