"The tattoos on my body are Bible inscriptions"- Actor Ik Ogbonna

Nollywood Actor and Model, Ik Ogbonna explained his many tattoos to the Netng

The tattoos on my body are Bible inscriptions and they mean something to me. I don’t have dead bodies or funny looking quotes on it. I understand the Bible says we should not inscribe the drawings or names of the dead or other gods. The same goes for piercing, the bible does not say piercing or braiding of hair is exclusive to a (particular) sex....
I would have had more tattoos but because I am an actor and some roles will not allow me. Soon, I may go very crazy with tattoos. I love art a lot, this is my body, God gave it to me’...

Corp Members Will Now Have to Pay N4,000 to Get Call-up Letters' – NYSC

The National Youth Service Corps has defended its new policy that requires prospective corps members to pay N4,000 each before accessing their call-up letters online. According to the agency that mobilizes Nigerian graduates for their compulsory one-year service to the nation, insinuations that the new system was introduced for exploitative reasons is not true.

Speaking with the News  Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja yesterday, the agency’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Mrs  Olubunmi Aderibigbe, said the new policy was in the interest of the corps members. That contrary to the false impression, the new process was aimed at improving efficiency and reducing the stress  associated with the collection of call-up letters by  prospective corps members. She said:

It is wrong for anyone to assert that NYSC is exploiting  prospective corps members through the new computerized process. Some people seem not to know what some of prospective corps  members go through before collecting their call-up letters;  many of them travel several kilometers away from their homes  just to get the call-ups.
What we have done is in fact to reduce the cost and risks  associated with the collection of the call-ups and to eliminate  sharp practices associated with the old process.’’

The director of Corps Mobilisation of the scheme, Antony Ani also stated that the services which include receipt of call-up numbers through email/sms, printing or re-printing of call-up letters online in case of loss, was optional. That prospective corps members who choose to collect their call-up letters from their institutions need not pay the stipulated fee.

Four Types Of Women A Nigerian Man Would Most Likely Settle Down With

Friday, September 12, 2014

It is a taboo for a man to remain unmarried in Nigeria, which is why many successful men are swarmed by eager women who would do anything in order to bear Mrs. X. The truth of the matter is that Nigerian men prefer certain types of women for marriage and they prefer certain types of women just for s*x and nothing more.

Women who are at the top of the marriageable list are;
Light Skinned Women
There is a popular Yoruba song that goes “omo pupa o, omo pupa la wa n fe; omo pupa o ju wo mo feran re o” it literally means “light skinned girl you are the one we want to marry, light skinned girl, please I love you.”
Most men will give their right arm to date and marry a light skinned girl. In the olden days (and now) light skinned girls attracted more suitors and their bride price were quite exorbitant. Light skinned women are always the center of attraction and most men who date them believe that marrying (a much coveted) light skinned girl will do wonders for their egos.
Most dark skinned women have taken to using skin bleaching crèmes in order to compete with their fairer counterparts.
Women With Ample Flesh
Most Nigerian men will not marry a skinny woman but they would rather sleep with her instead. Many men from the western and eastern part of Nigeria believe that a woman is more beautiful if she has ample flesh, some men have been known to date only women who have big butts! Most Yoruba men are of the opinion that sleeping with a skinny woman is like sleeping with a man, but sleeping with a woman that has some ample flesh will give them something soft to hold on to.
Understanding Women
An intolerant woman will sure have a hard time finding a man to settle down with. No Nigerian man wants a woman who will grill him at the slightest opportunity. If a Nigerian man suspects you to be intolerant of his (sometimes) bad behaviour, he will drop you like a hot potato.
The trick most women employ is to become his legal wife first, and after the wedding (now they have a firm foot hold) they’ll draw up a list of do’s and don’ts for their husbands to abide by.
Hardworking Women
Most men in Nigeria will never consider marrying a woman who is not gainfully employed or runs a business of her own. Gainfully employed women are at the very top of a searching bachelor’s list. The present economic situation in the country is not making things any easier for men, who are mostly the bread winners of many Nigerian families. Most men want a wife who can help support the family (financially). Most women and a few men still believe that it is the man’s responsibility to provide for his family and allowing a woman to do part of his job is nothing but an insult to his manhood.

Do Women Cheat More?

Thursday, September 11, 2014

There is new research that indicates that women are starting to cheat a lot these days.

According to womenshealth.com, researchers had 918 men and women fill out an online questionnaire on whether or not they've cheated on their partners and why they did it. The results: 19 percent of women admitted to straying outside their relationship—that’s up 5 percentage points from the National Science Foundation’s General Social Survey in 2010.

As for men, it was 23 percent, up 4 percent since 2010.

Hmmm…are you guys noticing what I’m noticing here? This means in a few years to come, women are going to beat men in this cheating game. Dudes, beware! But chill…how come nobody is really noticing this? Are we men so blind or are women so good? I think the latter is the case. When a chick decides to hide her business, you will never catch her. How about the reasons why women cheat? Well, they range from revenge, to emotional connection, to the search of excitement, to lack of self esteem, to lack of respect for their men, to sexual starvation, to anger, to the need to have a bigger penis (yes, size matters to them; don’t let them deceive you) and to just plain badness.

I listed only a few. There are actually more reasons and that is why guys never know that their women are cheating until it has gone on for a very long time. Most women will end a relationship and their men won’t know they have even been cheating.

But with guys, it’s simple. A man sees a hot chick and he wants to hit that and then he goes for her. Of course, there are also cases where men cheat because they have been emasculated or sex-starved but know that such men always had it in them to cheat from the start. They just needed a push. But with women, they can start off faithful and loving and all you just need to do is step on the wrong toe and you’re history. I’m not saying all women are like that; please don’t throw stones at me o. But guys, again, beware! Women are getting tired of our bull crap. Anyway, I’d like to hear from you on this matter. Take the poll below and let me know what you think.

You could also leave your thoughts in the comment section.
