Underperforming and Misfiring gunners striker Olivier Giroud, has apologised to his wife Jennifer, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and his team mates, after he was photographed in a hotel room with a model, hours before a match.

 He has earlier denied that he met with Celia Kay, but a picture taken by the model of Giroud in his hotel room in just underwear, has been published by the UK Sun on Sunday, forcing the former Montpellier man to ask for forgiveness.

 The star tweeted a grovelling apology to her, his fans and his club two hours before the Gunners’ FA Cup tie with Liverpool.

Last week Olivier Giroud persuaded the 34D beauty to sneak into his room despite strict orders from manager Arsene Wenger about early nights.

She said: "He didn't seem to care about the match at alll. He asked me to stay the night - he is totally crazy."

Arsenal planned to fine the star up to £230,000 but relented after he scotched our report. His lawyers wrote a series of letters denying wrongdoing.
