Governor Chime Chases His Wife Out Of Government House

These are indeed not the best of times for Governor Sullivan Chime and his second wife, Clara, who is said to be having "serious" medical challenge. Their crises assumed a new dimension on Sunday as Governor Chime with the assistance of security operatives, sent his wife from the Enugu State Government House.

Mrs. Chime’s personal effects were packed for her by the governor and his security detail, and she was forcibly taken out of the Government House in broad daylight.

Mrs. Chime, who struggled to depart with her four-year-old son, was bundled into a convoy of six cars and taken to her mother’s residence at House 38, Coal City Estate, Enugu.

However, on getting there, the mother who had not been notified that her daughter was being brought home, was not around. This forced Mrs. Chime and the security operatives to sit in their cars waiting for her mother to return for several hours.

Soon, the news spread round town and journalists rushed to Clara mother's residence to cover the incident live. Consequently, Governor Chime ordered that his wife be brought back to Government House.

Sources say he intends to send her back to her mother on Monday.

The governor was said to have taken the sad action to drive his wife away because she petitioned him before the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) over her confinement against her wish.

Nigerian Politician and former Deputy Governor of Lagos state deported from America over N130M Fraud

Former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, western Nigeria, Alhaja Sinatu Ojikutu and Sampson Ojikutu, will be arraigned by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU), of the Nigeria Police Force before a Federal High Court in Lagos tomorrow on a three-count charge of conspiracy, obtaining by false pretence and stealing.

Sources close to SFU informed P.M.NEWS that Ojikutu, who is currently in the United States of America, USA, will be repatriated to Nigeria and arraigned tomorrow.

In a criminal charge number FHC/L/C/343c/13 filed before the court by CSP Effiong Asuquo from the SFU, it was alleged that Ojikutu and Sampson in September 2011 at Lekki Phase 1, Victoria Island, Lagos, conspired to commit felony to wit, obtaining the sum of N130 million.

The money was allegedly collected from a Lagos businessman, Cajetan Okekearu, under the pretence that they have a plot of land at Lekki Phase 1 at Victoria Island to sell to him.

Sources close to SFU informed P.M.NEWS Ojikutu’s proposed repatriation was effected with the assistance of the US Embassy in Nigeria.

 Reports disclosed that all arrangements have been put in place for Ojikutu’s repatriation to Nigeria today.

Cook Had A Governor For Best Man At His Wedding (PICTURED)

This man can never think of a better wedding gift. Everyone was taken by surprise when Governor Gabriel Suswam played the best man at a wedding that held at Our Lady Perpetual Help Cathedral, Makurdi, Benue State, over the weekend!

The groom, Peter Anyiman, is a cook, who serves Catholic Priest, Rev. Father Michael Tumba.
Playing his role as the best man, Governor Suswam took time to adjust the groom’s tie and wipe sweat from his face to the admiration of the guests who attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the wedding reception, Governor Suswam said Anyiman – who had serves Rev. father Tumba in Abuja for 18 years – had demonstrated commitment to his job, thus he deserved to be honoured. Suswam further advised people to take their jobs seriously.

Anyiman said he considered himself lucky to have the governor serve as his best man and could not have wished for a better wedding gift.
