Since she clinched the star prize of N5.2 million at the first edition of Peak Talent Show in 2009, Yemi Alade has consistently proven through her performances and series of hit songs that she’s ready to be the next big thing that will happen to the nation’s music scene. The eye candy” Gheghen Love” sensation who is signed to Effyzzie Entertainment reveals in this interview why it is difficult for Reality TV show winners to succeed in the music industry.

How did you get into music?


Professionally, I started getting involve in music in 2009 when I emerged the winner of the Peak Talent Show. But before then, I have been doing music for the past nine years. I used to be in a group called Naughty Spices.

All my life , I have always been involved in music.

What was it like after emerging the winner of the Peak Talent Show?

Things changed. I won a reasonable prize money which I invested in my career. I used part of the money to finance my studio sessions with Eldee, Cobhams, Dj Clem , IBK and also, to shoot the video of my song ‘Fimisile’ .

But the truth is that after the reality TV show, it dawned on me that I had to plan for my future.

Why is it difficult for artistes who emerge winners in reality TV show to succeed in the showbiz world?

Like I said earlier, after the show comes the reality, that nothing good can just happen at once. You just have to work for it.

Reality TV shows are usually have the life span of six months or a minimum of three months. You cannot become a star overnight or within three months.

You cannot impregnate a lady and expect her to give birth to her baby within three months. It’s not supposed to be easy , otherwise, you are just wasting your time. Everything in life takes time.

Any plans For the future?
No plans yet, I ‘ll not get married anytime soon

The lady who wrecked Kate Henshaw’s Marriage revealed

The real reason behind the unexpected separation from one of the then best couples in the entertainment industry, Kate Henshaw and ex husband, Nuttal has been revealed.
Nuttal who’s the Managing Director of Ledrop Nigeria Ltd (agents for Jack Daniels and Piper Hiedsieck) was romancing his secretary whose name is Angela Gordon, a twenty four years old pretty lady from the South South part of the country. Angela is a staff at Mr. Nuttal’s company located at Ligali Ayorinde, Victoria Island, Lagos.The duo kicked off a secret romance which was fueled by Angela’s mum three years ago while kate’s marriage with her husband was still intact until the actress got wind of their affair.
The news of the romance  was brought to Kate’s notice by one of the aggrieved staff of her husband when it was obvious Angela was towing the part of a second wife. Kate stormed her husband’s office on this fateful evening unannounced and was shocked to find her husband with Angela in an uncompromising position,
Mr. Nuttal had to confirm his affair with his secretary to his wife who became perplexed immediately. The height of it was when Kate’s hubby gave her an option of either accepting things as it were or bow out of the marriage if she can’t stand his relationship with Angela.
The outcome of the storm however was the official statement from the estranged couple months later announcing their separation without any concrete reason when it was obvious the marriage could not go on.
Angela now cruises a black Range Rover Sport and lives in a cozy 3-bedroom apartment around Lekki phase 1 courtesy of her white lover. The new madam of the house as she’s popularly called by friends also allegedly miscarried a baby for Nuttal late last year 2012 while the duo is also said to be flaunting their romance since the couple went their separate ways with Angela’s mum being her backbone.

How Photos To Lover Allegedly Crashed Uche Iwuji’s Marriage

It is no longer news that the barely one year old marriage of controversial Nollywood actress, Uche Iwuji has reportedly crashed. What many, especially her teeming fans are oblivious of is the huge role some unclad pictures of the pretty thespian allegedly play in the collapse of the once happy union between Iwuji and her international businessman lover, Mr. Juwon Lawal.

In fact, unconfirmed information reaching Us has it that shocked and disappointed Lawal has abandoned his matrimonial home and fled abroad to calm his frayed nerves and possibly get over the betrayal.

Another unconfirmed report claimed that Iwuji’s amorous affair with the Managing Director of one of the foremost family banks in Nigeria was responsible for the many crises in their troubled marriage.

Lawal EE learnt reportedly heard that his wife was having a secret affair with the top banker and as well discovered some BBM/SMS messages exchanged between her and her lover boy senior banker whose financial house just clocked 30 and still celebrating.

Some of the BBM chats included n*ked pictures of the actress, which she allegedly sent to her randy and married lover boy spoilt brat.
It was further alleged that after the heartbreaking findings devastated Lawal abandoned his ‘darling’ wife and their new born baby for the States.

A close source who doesn’t want her name mentioned, confirmed the marriage crash, claiming Iwuji had always been unlucky with love.

“Not just that, Uche is also back to hustling; looking for movie roles and all that…See, Uche na good girl, but love has been bad and unfair to her. Remember there was a guy she first co-habited with in Spain and at the end of the day nothing came out of it. And before that, she also dated footballer Joseph Yobo who later dumped her for ex-beauty queen, Adaeze Igwe. Then, Juwon, whom she met in London. The truth is that I really feel for her.”

However, in a recent chat with Yes International Magazine, the pretty actress debunked the rumour of her marriage crash, insisting that her young family was still intact and waxing stronger.

Actress, Uche Iwuji Marriage Crashed Due To Affair With FCMB MD

There is a new angle to the actress, Uche Iwuji’s marriage breakup and it’s nauseating. A report has emerged stating that the FCMB MD, Ladi Balogun is responsible for the crisis in Uche Iwuji’s marriage.

According to the report, the actress’ husband, Juwon discovered that his wife was having an amorous affair with the banker and as well discovered some BBM/SMS messages exchanged between his Uche and Ladi. According to the report, some of the BBM chats include unclad pictures of the actress, which she allegedly sent to her lover boy banker.

It is alleged that Juwon Lawal has abandoned Uche and their new born baby for the states with Uche finding solace in the hands of Ladi Balogun who is said to have been spoiling her silly with cash among other things to ensure her compfort.

It would be recalled that Ladi Balogun on several occasions have been described as a very reckless individual with a penchant for sleeping with young pretty married ladies, among whom were, society big gal, Uju Murphy, whom he allegedly crashed her marriage in the end.

Neither Uche Iwuji nor the coporate affair person for FCMB, Luis Ibe had responded yet to a text message sent to them for reaction.

It’s no news that 9ice has gone back to study Law and is also joining politics.In an interviewwith Punch, he said he had no regrets about his marriage

    “I don’t. I have never regretted that marriage. I have so many reasons.It is not only because of my son. Without that marriage, I will not be here today. I see life from a different perspective now. There are things that are inevitable. So, many things are bound to happen in life and there is nothing you can do about it. When such things happen, you have to face it. You only have to manage it when it happens and from there, you move ahead. If you don’t move ahead from that situation, you will never go to the next level.”

And now that you are back, should these artistes be scared?

    We are not on the same level. They are in the river and I am in the ocean. Let them just do their thing. I am on a different level. They are making money. That is nice. They don’t disturb me and I don’t disturb them either.
