Nollywood Actors Aki, Pawpaw, & Liwin Banned from shooting movie In Ghana

Popular Nigerian comedy actors Aki and Pawpaw have been abruptly stopped from shooting a movie in Kumasi with other actors including Kwadjo ‘Liwin’ Nkansah.

The directive which came from the Film Producers’ Association of Ghana (FIPAG) was due to the fact that the director of the movie had breached some of the association’s regulations. Mr. Michael Ola, PRO for the association who disclosed this in an exclusive interview with our correspondent explained the association had no qualms with the duo but believed the right procedure had to be followed especially when the new executives of the association had laid out new strategies to make the industry a better one.

Akin and Pawpaw have therefore been asked to officially obtain documents from the Film Industry in Nigeria, working permit as well as make payments for the continuation of the shoot. As at the time of publication, the duo and the production house in charge of the movie, Peace and Love Productions had commenced with procedure to make things easy for the continuation of the movie.

What is really happening? God please help us! One of the prominent faces of Yoruba genre of Nollywood, Janet Atayero-Oluseye who got married last year to Olalekan Oluseye has passed away.

She died at the age of 32 on Wednesday 23th of October, 2013. The member of Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioner (ANTP), Ibadan chapter was with the Ojopagogo movie caucus in Ibadan until her death.
She was said to have complained of pains on her foot and couldn’t walk with it for months and subsequently her health deteriorated even though she was treated in the hospital and some spiritual measures were taken to help her out, she however died and was buried in Lagos, the same day she died

Ayo Makun has delved into movie productions! Not only as he started producing films, but he will also be acting in them, so you are now free to call him an actor.

Ay has been in the US with Ramsey Nouah and Desmond Elliot for some weeks now where they have been shooting scenes for the movie. However, what caught our attention was when Vivica Fox an American actress, was spotted on his movie set.

She is said to be one of the actresses Ay featured. This is the first movie he is producing.
