Mrs Sally Mbanefo (NTDC Boss) In N270m Scandal; Barred From Travelling

Barely 6 months after assuming office as the Director General of Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), Mrs Sally Uwechue-Mbanefo is swimming in the murky waters of corruption.

Along with some top officials of the agency, Sally is being investigated for an alleged N270m fraud. And this time, the case has reached such an extent that anti-corruption agency, the EFCC has invited and questioned all parties involved.

Insiders revealed "the new D.G and her agents are so embroiled in the matter that, they were only allowed to leave the office of the EFCC based on administrative bail".

A travel ban slammed on 'them' as investigations continues. The 'official' car of one of the accused identified as 'the C.S.O' was reportedly impounded till circumstances surrounding its acquisition are cleared.

The case against Mrs Mbanefo and others centres on illegal manouevering in 'allocating budgets', approving expenditures'.

An insider is said to have discovered the anomaly and petitioned the EFCC with supporting evidences. Six top staffers of the NTDC - including the D.G and the 'C.S.O' - are involved in the ongoing case.

Mbanefo, a former banker and top staffer of Lafarge Cement Wapco Nig Plc assumed her present post in May 2013.

Nigerian Celebrities In Fake Chanel Lego Clutch Bags Scandal

The fashion trend that started from Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji few weeks ago, as she was the first actress to be seen with the $10,000 bag, is likely to stop any moment from now after two Nigerian actresses were accused of carrying fake Chanel Lego clutch bags.

The ladies in question are; Ini Edo and Tayo Odueke popularly called Sikiratu Sindodo.

Sikiratu was spotted at an event few days ago rocking an alleged replica version of Chanel Lego clutch which looked so identical to the one carried by Ini Edo few weeks ago.

Nollywood critics claim the replica version of the popular designer bag costs only 47,000 Nigerian Naira while the original version costs a whopping $10,000.

Keep in mind that the replica bags being carried by Ini Edo and Sikiratu Sindodo are good quality made in Italy….. so aproko take it easy on these ladies.

The version they’re carrying are sold in boutique stores and online for $295.

There are reports that Kano state Governor Idris Wada is said to be fast emerging the most controversial in the area of women affairs.

Sources from the state house are whispering that the governor has allegedly put two women an actress, Linda Black and his Personal Assistant, Halima Ibrahim, in the family way.
The Kogi State house is said to be seriously boiling as his two wives who are yet to settle their squabbles over who should be the first lady.

The first wife and His Excellency had reasons to raise their voices just days before the Governor left Lokoja for Abuja a while back accusing him of sexual recklessness and giving her sexually transmitted disease(Syphilis).
