Nollywood Actors Aki, Pawpaw, & Liwin Banned from shooting movie In Ghana
Popular Nigerian comedy actors Aki and Pawpaw have been abruptly stopped from shooting a movie in Kumasi with other actors including Kwadjo ‘Liwin’ Nkansah.
The directive which came from the Film Producers’ Association of Ghana (FIPAG) was due to the fact that the director of the movie had breached some of the association’s regulations. Mr. Michael Ola, PRO for the association who disclosed this in an exclusive interview with our correspondent explained the association had no qualms with the duo but believed the right procedure had to be followed especially when the new executives of the association had laid out new strategies to make the industry a better one.
Akin and Pawpaw have therefore been asked to officially obtain documents from the Film Industry in Nigeria, working permit as well as make payments for the continuation of the shoot. As at the time of publication, the duo and the production house in charge of the movie, Peace and Love Productions had commenced with procedure to make things easy for the continuation of the movie.

Divorced Nollywood actress, Chika Ike, seems not to forget the woes of her marriage in a hurry, as she has come out with more scathing revelations against her ex-husband, Tony Eberiri.
Chika who acted in several Nollywood movies including ‘Standing Alone,’ ‘My Prince,’ ‘My Princess,’ ‘Paradise’ and ‘Emotional Blackmail,’ exposed her pain via her Facebook posts: “Growing up as a girl, I was always known as the sweetest kid on the bloc. Before I got married, I have been through some relationships and for once, no man had ever laid a finger on me.
The first time it happened in my marriage, I didn’t understand it because I am not the type of woman a man beats but I guess there are no types. It just happens and no woman deserves it. I thought it was love or his way of expressing his emotions, but after every beating, he pleads, cries and says it won’t happen again; once again, I thought it was love and made excuses for him.
Over the years, when it kept happening consistently, I started looking for other definitions for it. I started losing my self-pride, self-esteem, self-worth, and most painfully, I lost my baby, (miscarriage). I almost lost my life in the process, and then I realized how serious and abnormal it really was.”
So sad Dear! Real men do not beat women.

Nollywood Actress Mitchell Ozakpolor, aka Mimi is no doubt one of the most busty actress in the movie industry and she feels so good about it. Mini has been acting for over a decade now . She resigned from her banking job to pursue her dream in Nollywood. While said that, she said she never for once regretted leaving the banking world for acting. What part of your body is your best asset?
I detest being asked this question because everyone already knows my best asset. Even if I mention something else, they would know I’m just being economical with the truth because it is obvious. I know I’m very busty, it is supposed to be my best asset. One good thing about me is that I really don’t flaunt it. I just wear dresses that I like and the just flaunts, whether the neckline of my dresses are showing my cleavage or not. But my cleavage is just obvious because my "b*obs" are massive. I think mine is the biggest in Nollywood.
Don’t you think Corsy Orjiakor has the that record in Nollywood?
No, but people think she is. She is not. If I pack up my "b*obs" the way she packs hers, to be frank people won’t walk on the street, believe me. I try to pack mine in such a way that it won’t be obvious and so that some guys won’t jump on me and start begging me to kiss them.
Did Jim Iyke touch you there during the romance movie with him?
Before we started shooting, I pleaded with him not to touch them (laughs). He is my friend and we already had a talk before that movie. He said he must touch it, that it was a good opportunity to do so. I knew what he could do. I started begging him and he promised he won’t do it. When we started the role, he just kissed me but he didn’t touch them. He kept to his promises.
What are the qualities of your ideal man?
He has to be very tall and masculine. It’s so unfortunate most Nigerian men are losing it these days. They eat too much of pounded yam and forget to go to the gym. I like them light in complexion but if he is dark he must be extremely handsome. That is the only way that colour works for me. I like clean guys. I mean I like a guy when he is bending to pick up something, I see his boxers and it is not these regular stripy ones. Clean, white boxer and white singlet turn me on.
I like white singlet on him. Let him be generally clean in whatever he is wearing, from head to the toe. I would like to come to your apartment and see that you are clean and your car is clean. If I come close to you, be sure to smell good. I love perfumes. Now I’m wearing Kim Kadashan Gold. A guy has to smell good. That is the only way I’m going to give you a hug if I actually want to. I like guys who are confident, cool, okay and clean.

Actress Genevieve falls sick in London
It was an anti-climax for Nollywood superstar Genevieve Nnaji a.k.a Genny after she flew to London for last weekend’s premier of the movie of the moment, Half of a Yellow Sun, only to fall sick and miss the big event.
The cruel fate that befell Genevieve, who plays Ms. Adebayo in the world acclaimed movie, was disclosed by the director, Biyi Bandele, who said they missed Genny at the premiere. According to Bandele in a post on his Facebook wall on Sunday,
“Just got back from the BFI London Film Festival European premiere of Half of a Yellow Sun at the Odeon West End. Humbled and moved by the rapturous reception the audience gave it. It was also great to see the hardest working actor on our hemisphere, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and the great John Boyega, and the amazing Babou Ceesay, and the one and only Onyeka Onwenu. And Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, of course. Without whom… We missed Thandie, who is on location in Vancouver. We missed Genevieve, who flew in for the premiere and promptly went down with a flu (mind yourself o, London weather). What a night though. What a night.”

Nollywood actor Olukayode Odumosu, popularly known as Pa Kasumu, is in dire straits. He is struggling to stay alive as he battles heart and liver diseases.
Amid fears and prayers by family members, relations and friends, he is receiving treatment at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for “secondary prevention of repeat stroke,” after battling a cardiovascular disease, otherwise known as stroke. Now, he needs N12 million to address the health challenges that are pushing him to the brink.
But, can he find help to stay alive and do what he loves doing? This is the poser on his lips when he spoke with The Nation. He recounted that his ailment began in 2009. Since then, he has been undergoing series of diagnostic tests and costly medications.
All these have deprived him of any meaningful professional engagement in the movie industry; hence, he is suffering serious financial handicap.
Odumosu, who hails from Odogbolu in Ogun State, said his vision was also failing, adding: “I have spent so much on these diseases. When it was first diagnosed, the doctors said the ailment was severe, that they would need to control its progression for it not to affect my kidneys. This they did, and I was happy they succeeded, but now, other serious ailments have set in, necessitating this battle of survival.”
Odumosu, who recently clocked 60, with over 40 years in the movie world, said: “I am not tired yet; I still want to continue to make people laugh, but my failing health is a terrible obstacle.”
He said he was experiencing memory loss due to the ailment, adding that it was time the government, corporate organisations and kind-hearted Nigerians rescued him from likely “untimely death.”
Odumosu, who lives in a rented apartment at 9, Alayaki Street, Off Olateju Street, Mushin, Lagos, said he had spent all he had on the diseases and could no longer afford the cost of further treatment.

to a stranger, aww! He announced this via a facebook post. He said “There was this day I was travelling to Abuja to shoot a movie and I got into the aircraft and met this woman, she was older than my mother. As I made to put my bag in the overhead compartment, I greeted her but she didn’t answer me. I just ignored her and sat down. On arrival in Abuja, the woman was struggling to get her luggage from the compartment and I just stretched my hand and helped her to get it. She asked for it without a thank you but I refused to give it to her, offering to help her take it down. On getting out of the aircraft, she again requested for her luggage but I said, madam I’ll take it to the arrival hall for you and she looked at me with bewilderment. When we got to the arrival hall I turned to the woman and handed her luggage to her and as I made to leave, she called me by my name. I was surprised and retorted, so madam you even know my name. But why did you not answer me when I greeted you on board the aircraft. She then said, Mike, I’ve come across a lot of your Nollywood mates and they seem to be pigheaded so that is why I always want to distant myself from them.” I just smiled and told her I’m not like that. She asked where I was going and I felt she wanted me to ride with her into town. I told her I was in Abuja to shoot a movie. I then turned to leave but some four or five policemen who must have come to pick her told me to wait. I said what’s my own, I’ve helped her to this place and I want to go. They however insisted that I should wait. I didn’t really know who the woman was but the long and short of it all was that she ended up giving me three plots of land in Abuja.” Cool story!

Ever since his deliverance at the synagogue church last weekend, the former Nollywood bad boy has been all over the news and surprisingly his bff, Nadia Buari, kept mum on the issue.
Interestingly, Jim Iyke’s BFF, Nadia Buari is neither perturbed or worried as many have decided to be since his deliverance session at Pastor T.B Joshua’s Synagogue Church Of All Nations.
As a matter of fact, Jim Iyke is presently in Ghana and he worshipped at Nadia Buari's church last night.
